I placed a loved one at this facility after looking at many others in the surrounding area. When I first arrived I was doubtful that I would be impressed. It is a small, older building. Many of the facilities I looked at in Springfield were much bigger, and prettier. However, as I toured the facility I was pleasently surprised. The facility felt homey, the staff greeted my family warmly and you could really see that the staff knew each and every one of the patients. I met with the Administrator and the Head Nurse. They were both extremely helpful and understanding in answering all of our questions. I quickly decided that this was the place I felt secure in placing my mother. We have been there for about five months now and are extremely pleased. Looking for a nursing home wasn't something I ever looked forward to doing, but Auburn really made it easy. I appreciate them so much for doing such noble work. And am so thrilled I can sleep at night, knowing my mother is safe and being given the best care possible. THANK YOU!
