I will never go to this hospital again or use any doctor associated with this hospital. I had surgery for a lumpectomy for the second time and asked for twilight (like I did the first time) because I don't respond well to anesthesia. My sister was with me as she is a pharmacist and was there when we talked to the doctor that would handle anesthesia. She kept trying to talk me out of it and said she would only do it if my body didn't tolerate the procedureor as a life saving measure. Woke up alone to find out I had been intubated and neither doctor bothered to mention it to me or my sister. I called the doctor and asked for an explanation and also asked why she wouldn't have taken the time to be there when I woke up or have a nurse find her to explain this deviation from what we discussed. No explanation..guess they can do whatever they want to you when you are knocked out. You are taking a big risk by going to this hospital.
