Hello I am a current worker going to be former CNA at rosewood in inverness. I have had so many problems with the facility. The nurses are all Philipino, very racist towards other ethics of CNAs. We have over 140 beds and only one African American resident and the rest are Caucasian. There is a lack of teamwork, and communication. A lot of falls due to short staff all the time. Normally a CNA day is 15 residents, during that time between 6am-7:30am we need to get them all up and dressed and in the dining room at 7:30, which were never on time and most likely to leave the resident in bed to eat if we don't have time for them. Afterwards, get everyone back to the unit and on the toilet. Normally we don't have time to put all on the toilet so they wet there pants and if they are not alert they will sit in there diaper until they take a nap at 2pm. Most CNAs throw around residents that are not alert, leave them to the end to change, because they know they will not complain to the nurses if they are not alert. We are so stressed out that no one cares about there residents. Even our boss don't care about complaints, even she calls us in when were sick. She asked me the next day to come in when I had strep throat. She thought I would be ok since I was on antibiotics for 12 hours. Wrong. This place irritates me so bad because I do my best, I sit and talk to my residents on my break, I take my time and I don't care if people think I'm slow. I'm there for the residents. I have seen CNAs be rough to the residents. I have seen the CNAs just close the door when residents are crying in bed for varies reasons. Even the nurses don't care because they are too busy. A resident died because of their ignorance. His tongue was rolling back and he was having trouble breathing and the nurses said he's fine the doctor is coming in the morning. I was very upset and I was completely disappointed in all of the nurses. This nursing home is beautiful when you walk in but to work here and watch how the CNAs and nurses treat the residents is unbelievable. I would never bring one of my family members here. I do not trust them at all. Do not choose this nursing home for your loved one. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 2248000950. I will answer any questions you have.

My grandfather has been in Rosewood Care Center in Inverness for 2 weeks and his condition is much better. We looked up ratings on the medicare website and it said that Rosewood in Inverness was rated 5 stars. It certainly provides a 5 star level of care, and the nurses are very kind and helpful. Only complaint was the first day we wanted to get him in they were at full capacity. He was admitted the next day however.
