Understaffed...and make medical mistakes, unless checked by patient.

The staff at the front desk and upper management are very unprofessional, although they claim to run "East Bank" better than a nursing home. Due to the nonprofessional management, I find it hard to believe they know what they are doing. The nurses can give great care, but not having a stable company behind them I would not send my loved ones there.

I was there recovering from a knee replacement. Food was good, presented beautifully but had to be brought up from a lower level to serve in the dining room. They were staffed with mostly RNs, a rarity. I was pleased with the PT and OT staff. I was wel ahead of the expected level of progress after 1 week. My surgeon was pleased.

Be very careful who you choose to take care of a family member.

This company doesn't pay their bills.

Response: What does not paying there bills have to do with the care they give to patients. You need complain to the accounts payable dept. this site is for the care you receive. Thanks for understanding.

East Bank is an excellent, caring and clean facility. The Rehab and nursing staff are above and beyond. The administrative and ALL other staff work together wonderful and are always top notch and ready to help you out. The dining room is beautiful and the food is way above any other nursing home in Rockford. They should be commended for their care and concern for every patient that has the privilege of staying at East Bank! My mom would not be moving forward in her battle with open heart surgery and many unforeseen medical complications if it were not for East Bank's professional care and expertise!

Response: You were very lucky.

Response: It is never a "privilege" to stay in a nursing home!
