The only good thing about this place is that it is near by. They are abusive to their residents. I have a parent there because as of right now we don't have any other options. They don't give the medication right and they leave their residents sitting in their own feces. The biggest part of the time the residents have to wait way past food time to get their tray. Sadder even is that I wouldn't feed the food to a starving dog. They tell lies to family members and things disappear from the residents rooms. It's constantly freezing there and everything is ratty. When you try to find out things they give you the run around. They don't do physical therapy on the residents and don't even bother to check on them in their rooms. I would do anything to not have to have my parent in this facility. It's so sad the way these residents are treated like trash. I haven't even stated half of what this place does wrong.

This place has to be the crappiest ran facility ever. To start with the owner is also the administrator who is there MAYBE once a week, she has no respect for anyone including family members of residents or ANY of her staff. Her second in command in the front office is just as bad they all act as if everyone owes them something, and dont even get me started on the person they call a receptionist what a joke. It could be ran better by a group of circus monkeys. I feel the worst for the residents but not only do they get treated poorly its because the owner cant keep enough staff because of her so called bussiness skills she just doesnt care. She thinks her employeesare a dime a dozen no respect for them so in return lack of care in the nursing home. The only good thing i have to say about the place is that there Activitys Director who the residents all seem to love does a very good job with my mother, but because of the owner and the front office she is also leaving do to lack of respect like so many other good employes have done. Also the kitchen and its manager do a very good job since the new dietary manager has been there the food is great, his very approachable when i need something for my mother and they do what ever they can to make the residents happy. If it wasnt for the front office staff this would be a great facility but with them I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Response: i worked there for 13 mos;another aide & i nor only had 2 do bed checks together on both wings we also had 2 do laundry as well,we also had 2 answer call lights, which was hard 2 do if we were on 1 wing & call light was on other wing. we even had 2 start getting them up @ 5:oo in the morning. doing bedchecks plus laundry & folding clothes is "cross contamination"!many times i was the only aide there--- i couldnT keep up with work. they didn't have enough help 4 # residents they had. they could care less 4 their employees/or residents.

Response: I couldnt agree more if the staff had some sort of insentive instead of beeing treated like just someone who is lucky to work there it would be great. get ur stuff together guys it could be a great place

I Agree with misskitty, they are rude and treat there employees like crap to boot. If there close to be getting on full time there fired in most cases. So I guess it would seem that u have to be in there inner circle to be able to keep your job, maybe this should tell the owner or president something. Ya think!!!!!
