I have to say I disagree with the reviews posted here. My mother has been here twice once on the first floor and the second time on the second floor. Our family could not be more pleased with the care she received on both visits, the nursing staff were some of the friendliest, compassionate and helpful nurses I've ever had to deal with. They were more than eager to answer our questions and provide answers and solutions to issues. My mother and family were kept very well informed of her progress and any problems that arose were dealt with in a timely matter, I highly recommend this facility.

Stay far away from this facility! I am reviewing the first floor of patients(rehab patients). Takes 30 minutes or more to have call lights answered. The nursing staff is under trained and understaffed! The CNA's are absolutely the worst. This facility hides behind a "cute" lower level. Keep your loved ones safe and stay far away.

This is a horrible place. My mom was there and we pulled her out after she ended up in intensive care. It would take an hour to get any aide or nurse to come. They would turn off the call light and say they needed to come back. Awful! Awful! Stay away. We filed a complaint with Illinois Dept. of Public Health and their license was downgraded to a conditional license. This conditional license should be displayed out in the open for all to see.

Response: We were told our mom had a cold and she ended up at the hospital with pneumonia and congested heart failure! She was there only a week until I called 911 on my own to get her out!! Horrid facility.

Response: Could not agree more to your review. Our parent spent a week at the hospital after we pulled them out after a week staying at this facility. The lack of care was unforgettable and unacceptable

your cna's need more training in respect, and if you are short staffed hire more cna's

This is a horrible neglectful place. It's beautiful in appearance, but nothing else. Placing the call light brings no one. Our family was there daily with my mom and no amount of watch dogging from us could keep my mom healthy there. She ended up in Palos Hospital twice. We pulled her out of there. STAY AWAY!

    Not even worth 1 star.
Our mom came out worse than when she went in. Wound dressings were not changed for days. She became so dehydrated she was slurring her words and she couldn't lift her head up off her chest. We were told it was dementia by the staff, only to find out it was dehydration when she was taken to the hospital. I would not bring my loved one here.

Response: I completely agree. My mom went to the hospital from Alden of Orland Park and needed to be in intensive care for a week. We pulled her out of there.

As much as I DONT want to even give this place 1 star, I have to so I can put my opinion in here. I have a family member at this facility against my wishes. I am a CNA and I know how a person is supposed to be cared for. This place may look beautiful, but that all it is, superficial. This place has left my loved one in the same clothes for 3 days, doesnt turn her or clean her up. I witnessed her brief soaked with blood and the nurse ask me if she still got her period!!! HELLO she is 78 years old of course she doesnt get that anymore!!! We put the call light on many times and it stays on for an average of 20-30 minutes, and we still have to go and find someone. State has been called numerous times. If you truly love your family member DONT send them here.

Response: We had the same experience at Alden of Orland Park. It is a terrible neglectful place.

Response: Cannot agree more with your review! Please read these reviews very carefully and DO NOT use this place for any treatment.
