Administration is VERY uncooperative and unhelpful with matters concerning your loved one. They do not return phone calls even after leaving them numerous voicemail. Unprofessional, uncaring and have lost site of the purpose they are in the position they are in. During my visits there, the residents walk around like zombies, or are sitting in a group watching television...there is minimal supervision. and the residents appear to be bored stiff.

Response: I have a brother that the staff refused to let me see him . My brother told me the truth after 25 to 30 years that he was for a crime he never committed . I had to go see him in hospital recently about a month ago . All these years I believe the Chicago police story . I had high hopes that I can go take him out to the movies once a month or just have him visit me once in a while but the manager is covering up for her boss O Brian and he threatened to arrest me .So the truth is my brother a very firm believer in Bible etc. Apparently O'Brian is covering up the real murderer , Arthur Puente my brother's so call best friend . An ex army veteran who hates his own race . All these years I was lied to since that day he got arrested and every time the truth was about to be revealed the mental health officials starts malice acts of phone tags or other acts of malicious attacks such as post office mail and other acts of Scientology behavior that has no business with my personal mail .

Other than food and medication, the care is very minimal.

Response: This is very true and needs to be known. It is very crowded and I never see patients being supervised or involved in anything other then standing around, walking around or watching TV. The TV is the supervisor I guess. Good thing this is a for profit place that makes money off the taxpayers and doesn't even care what kind of care they provide except the bare minimum.
