While I worked here, there were tons of wolf spiders all over the building. Once, they left a resident laying on the floor for 2 hours after he fell from his wheelchair, as time passed, they noticed this man was in pain & helped him up, 3 or so days later, they X-ray him & find out he had 2 broken bones from the fall that occurred during breakfast when no nurses would help him up from the floor.

Response: My father was in meadow lake for stroke recovery for six weeks .he had to have assitance toget to bathroom. after he rang his call button it took up to 30 minutes to help him. By that time he had urinated in his wheel chair and so they put adult diapers on him ,which was pure laziness on their part when all he nedded was assistance to the toilet. One Night I was there with him and his defibulator went off ,they did not call an ambulance to take him to the er., which is normal protecal for this. All they did was take his blood pressure and ask him if he was short of breath Then we had to file appeal for more insurance coverage , and they made us take him home with out hardly anytime to prepare for his care. I would not reccomend this place unless the family of the patient wants to spend 24 hours a day with them at the meadows .
