Disgusting!!!!!!

04/27/2011  -  An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes:

Understaffed, overworked and underpaid. Not a lot of involvement in activities. High fall risks due to low staff attention. Needs improvement.

Response: So true!! And the HR manager is RUDE! I would suggest she work on her people skills. The nurses work very hard and are over worked and under paid!!

Most of the staff are good to excellent. Staff on duty is too low at night. Not good in an emergency situation.
Sometimes patients who are continant, but cannot walk have to wait a long time to get help to go to the bathroom and will soil themselves.
Overall i think it is one of the best - but could always improve. Lots of ways to improve atmosphere - although good now - could be great. have seen one puzzle and the same few sensory items for the past year.
There are lots of things that could be done to keep them somewhat active. When my mom has things to do or even entertainment she is awake during the day and starts to be more interested in talking and interacting. When left on her own she could prob. sleep all day.
