Good Sams in Keosauqua is closing it's doors on their Alzheimers Unit that they sold to us as best for these residents - to have a small, quiet, safe area to reside. January 2013 they are opening up the entire nursing home to the Alzheimers patients to wander with ankle bracelets at will 24/7. My family member will have to go elsewhere due to the lack of specialized care that will be offered. Angry? YES!
