My husband resided at Urbandale Healthcare Center and TruRehab for almost two years until he recently passed away there. Our family will never be able to find the words and emotions to express the great level of care and compassion they showed my husband and our family from day, until his last day. No nursing home is perfect and it'll never be just like home but no place in the state of iowa can come any closer than Urbandale Healthcare did for our family. The quality of care the staff showed at all times was astounding. All of the staff, from frontline to management is always open, honest and caring. The facility is always clean and all staff continously goes above and beyond to create an enviroment full of love and full of activities. It's hard in this day and age to know where to turn when you need help caring for a loved one, and I would recommend Urbandale Healthcare to anyone in need of answers. Whether they are the place for your loved or not, they won't turn there backs on you at anytime. Bless you Urbandale Healthcare, don't ever stop doing what you all do.

My mother, Bonnie Holt was a short term resident and I couldn't have been more pleased with this facility. The staff was always helpful and friendly, facility always clean, quality of care was exceptional. I know this to be true as I visited daily and witnessed care to the residents, again finding the staff very caring. I am grateful Bonnie got to spend time in such a nice facility, with caring staff and administration!
