This place drugs seniors up and gives them MEDS that work against the illness they have they lets residents be overly drugged up
On things they don't have and let them smoke if they have heart disease or Dementia
Management is all about money and ways to lie to get it
Even telling each resident they
Can talk to him be careful if you
Take a parents or family here watch
Thier med list see them daily and at different times
They are up
To no good

Response: I see you know what you're talking about. With Lee Eaton in Charge as vice President of Operations this is how Stoneybrook will always be ran. You can judge a Retirement home by the Directors they hire to run it. Susan Reed, Janice Blavik, Cydni Washington, Mary Jo Berg. The only decent and honorable director Stoneybrook Assisted Living has ever hired was Lacey Hunter. But she was fed up by the staff and left.

Google French vs Midwest Health Management Inc. reveals the details of the class action suit against Midwest Health who owns Homestead and Stoneybrook Health care facilities in Manhattan Kansas for unfair labor practices concerning wages.

The foundation in some of the apartments on North Assisted Living leak water up through the carpets. The overhead plumbing in both South and North Stoneybrook Assisted Living leaks forcing residents and staff to avoid large containers collecting water in the halls or common areas. Midwest Health Care not willing to invest in master plumbers to repair the pipes or replace them and instead count on those with limited experience to deal with the ongoing plumbing issues in both North and South Stoneybrook Assisted Living. Not worth the money to endure when there are better maintained facilities in the city of Manhattan Kansas.

The RCC (LPN Resident Care Coordinator) will not document when an Alzheimer patient slaps hits and smears feces on another resident when they wander into another resident's room at any time. Alzheimer patients allowed in with normal patients because more money is charged for dementia patients. Money being stolen from the residents rooms and when reported to the director nothing is done. Hostility is given to any honest employee who reports thefts to management and are often discredited and fired. Honest nurses are terminated for not lying for management. The police aren't even allowed to come in to investigate jewelry and money taken from residents room. Charting is done by the RCC to indicate that the complaining resident of stolen items has 'memory loss' or is imagining things. All shifts of staff who smoke are outside texting and using their phones when resident care needs to be attended to especially when 6a.m staff arrives. The corporate offices in Topeka don't investigate the RCC-LPN or Director for fraud or corruption as they seem to value Medicaid fraud and passing State inspections based on concealment more. I would not recommend anyone moving into this facility. Kansas licensing Board for nursing homes should come into this facility and shut it done.

Response: The Midwest Health Care company's Vice President of Operations- for Stoneybrook has consistently hired ethically challenged Administrative Directors and Resident Care Coordinators with drinking problems. No efforts was made on his part to investigate what was really happening to residents of Stoneybrook unless their was a law suit pending or loss of Medicaid money due to residents leaving to safer facilities. Keep your parents at home if you love them. This isn't a safe Assisted Living to consider.

Response: Midwest Health Inc. being sued in Class Action for consistently deducting 30 minutes for all staff pay checks even when the staff works alone at night and has no one to cover for them. So Midwest Health Inc. that owns Homestead Assisted Living and Stoneybrook in Manhattan Kansas will cheat the government over Medicaid money and cheat their employees as well in their paychecks. The food is horrible at both facilities.

Response: It's sad but true and they let
Ill residents sit ill when they need medical care they bypass it as no issue and
Give mental illness MEDS to those that are not mentally ill
    They overly drug people
Give them liquor and smokes I could not
    Believe it
