Please please please if you are reading this and are considering this facility for your loved one do not put them here. The care is non existent and the place is filthy. The nurses and doctor told us my mother quit eating because of her dementia. This went on for 2 months and she lost 70 lbs. We had to tell them we wanted her to have an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't medical. They were sure it wasn't but they did it. They found numerous masses. We told the doctor that we wanted her in the hospital and he said they would send her for a cat scan first to rule out that is was medical even though the scan showed masses. He said he wanted to send her to a psychiatric hospital. The cat scan showed stage 4 cancer all through her body. She as admitted to the hospital and then we transferred her to north hardin nursing home in radcliff. This facility is amazing and the care is phenomenal. My mom just died today. Doesn't sound like a mental problem does it. Please do not send your loved ones here. This place should be shut down and brought up on neglect charges. I will be contacting the ombudsman to see what an be done to keep other residents from this abuse.

Response: I am very sorry for your loss and I'm very aware of your mom's care. I took care of her but this facility doesn't care! They didn't care about the reports I gave. It was a money game. See if they sent your mom out they lose money. I reported several times about her declining health but as I said they just swept it under the rug.
