Tanbark Health Care Center and its staff are outstanding. My mother spent 19 months at this facility and received excellent meals, assistance and medical attention. It is a pleasant building to visit and my mother enjoyed having a private apartment with a mini-fridge she could stock with wine and other refreshments. There are a variety of activities that residents may participate in if they choose, including a weekly outing to local restaurants. It is a clean, comfortable and caring kind of place.

Physical security and public safety

Set vendor entrances per security clearances and need of facility and the use of a responsible escort for public safety ot he facility.

Security is everybodys jobs, not a burden.
Ambulance only marked zones will tell all, that this is not for any other ourpose than for ambulance, a fire Truck is the only exception to that rule.

I have two ladies in my family I wanted to consider this facility in the near future. One is aged and the other is needed assisted residential due to autism.

One of my many jobs in my background is Facility Safety and Security Consulting and radom security breach checks for potential hazards.

I was particularly moved when I could not help but notice that the administrator was not handling a vendor oneday in a very poised nor effective manor. With suggests she probably would not do well with an autistic person if she can't deal well with a vendor in the lobby with other staff present.

Gladly I must say the staff is not a reflection of the Administrator's behavior.

As an Administrator of a Grand Facility the employees are so proud, it would be of great improvement for the Administrator to take a course on Managing difficult people.

I will not subject my loved one to an Administration that will react with their feeling over the facts at hand and the facility rules.
Personalitys and feelings are normal, however a Manager/Administrator must in conflict work with the facts, rule and enforce the rules in a proffessional manor.

All administrators have staunch followers that think the administrator is right on all issues unconditionally.

My loved one will not have the chance to be here due to the actions I witnessed in the lobby one day.

That is why this Facility is missing 1 star in the overall rating.
