TO WHOM IT CONCERNS: I do not think I should have to tell anyone their job, but I will if need be. I have been a guest/patient at Bossier Heritage Manor, for 8-9 mo.s and I have not seen my electric chair, since I got here. I was almost able to get in/out of it, by myself. I have gotten my bed sore back, that took my wife, 2 years to heal. I have told everyone, I want my chair back and nothing but lip service. If it's going to be so time consumer on them, they need to think of a new line of work. They do not get the respect they deserve. How much would that be. I can't get basic rehab. A little exercise....that should not take up to much time. Don't they call this some kind of a rehab place. Or, is it just a terminal holding cell. I'm only 56 years old. I am not interested in just getting ready to die. None of us are.
I just needed to tell somebody...sorry. Didn't mean to bother, never do. I'll fix that... kmweldin,sr

In addition, some nursing homes offer specialized care programs for Alzheimer's or other illnesses, or short-term respite care for frail or disabled persons when a family member requires a rest from providing care in the home. Please note that you can help compare nursing homes by looking at the Medicare ratings of a given facility (Medicare has a 5-star rating system for comparing nursing homes).
