The best thing about living at Blakehurst Retirement Community is the friendliness of the people. I also enjoy all of the activities. They always have entertainment planned and it's never boring. My experience at Blakehurst has been very good and I have absolutely no complaints about it here.

Best experience ever! My grandmother and I were very close. She lived at Blakehurst for many years before she passed away. She felt that the staff at Blakehurst was her family too. When her health was failing late in life, many staff were very concerned especially her housekeepers and dining servers. They would ask how is gradmom? They would give me hugs when the news wasn't great and go visit grandma to say hello. Take special care in choosing a community because my husbands grandmother didn't take the time to explore as many places and she ended up at Edenwald and regreated it. Edenwald was run like a large corporation that really didn't appear to care about their clients. I'd think twice before you putting yourself in the hands of Edenwald.
