The staff never responds to telephone calls from the family and the doctors have no bed side manners. The Administrator of the facility is completly out of touch of the residents needs and the facility is only concerned with filling beds not the care of patients. If keeping my family member at home were an option, I'd choose that rather than allow this ant infested, careless staff to take care of them

Response: I was in the place for 4 weeks and they didn't change the bed sheets I was mad so I put a mark on the sheets after the second for every day that was not changed when I was able to get up I took the sheets off and though them on the floor. If you all have a family member do as I did and you will if they change the sheets. It was a real bad they don't change the diapers of patients right away. I never want to go there again.

Response: are there any good comments on this place

My father died while under their care. We told the staff our concerns which they ignored. They don't care. please don't send your loved ones to this place.

Response: You are right! My family member recently died there and no one seemed to care at all, no offers of comfort, explanation, or assistance. They simply told us we needed to "get him out of there within 4 hours"! Again, all this with NO offer of help or compassion!!

After reading some of the reviews, not much has changed. The place is horrible. I came in to find my mother just sitting in a wheelchair, staring off into space. The place smells horrible. Staff is indifferent to needs of residents. I am working on getting my mom out of there as of this writing. This is a for-profit center, so a fat bottom line is the goal. They will not spend any more than they have to. It is disgusting how we treat our elderly and vets! I will file complaints with representatives and appropriate medical boards.

Flies on food in cart. Briefs put in trash but not put in plastic and tied up so there is odor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, I was there for over 3 months, I came a long way, I do housework and take care of all my personal needs

Response: That's because you were not long term live in and you didn't need help full time god forbid you need help to eat all you meals or need a diaper change or a bath or even want to go to bed early so you don't have to sit in the wheel chair for 10hrs with your head hanging down!!!!! That's why I took my family member out of there after 6 months not to mention the all the flies ever where what a hell hole!!

Response: How do you ever get four stars from a medicare rating??now I know the system is twisted. I wouldn't put my dog there. Itook my mom out of there as soon as possible. My prayers are with everyone who has to stay in this nasty dirty place with no help just workers sitting and standing around the desk ignoring everyone.

This is the worst facility I have ever seen. My parent is in rehab for a couple of weeks. He is in bed 10 hours of the day and then goes to therapy. What good is the therapy if you are in bed 10 hours of the day. Why not help him to a char The staff is unfriendly not helpful at all. They are the laziest bunch I have every seen. I watched a little lady in a wheelchair she looked like she was 80 she was there at the table where you eat from atleast whenI was there 6:00 to 8:00 when I left she finally dropped her head onthe table. I give them a overall of 0 -. I tried talking to them and they dont respond. I asked for some water for my parent and they said ok like it was a hard request. The front door at night never has anyeone there we walk in and can walk all around the facility without being asked. Myparent actually said they were scared to be there at night. I walked int he room and it must have been 90 in there. It was 80 outside that day and they opened the window. I closed the window and put the air on.

Response: I forgot to mention this is the rehab building

Response: I agree 100 percent my grand mother is in there we go up there 3 times a day and she always wet and messed they never feed her they just set the food tray in front of her at her bed table or in the so called dirty fly infested dinning room.we have to make sure she eats and is change into fresh clothes you would expect more from this private own nursing for over 70,000 dollars a year ...??we are looking for a new place it seem that theyall are under staffed and filthy.

Stay clear of this place - the Rehab side is ok - they will give you a tour of this facility - but use caution - ask for the room number and physically go there to see what it is and what is around it. Found it interesting that they have electric doors to meet ADA compliance when you enter - but access to the floors in the lobby you enter through swing doors and I saw disabled with wheelchairs and walkers struggling to get through them - the long term 5 story facility is an annex across from the main facility - this is a nightmere. This Annex building is not secure - you can walk in 24-7 there is no one to stop you entering. You sign a guest book clip on an ID visitor badge and just walk about freely. The place is filthy - had roaches crawling on the floors the first night - the shower room they use for the term patients is horrible and smells of urine - 1 large tiled room with what looks like pool furniture where you are taken out of your wheelchair, put in the pool chair - the gown is taken off and you basically are hosed off - that's your shower - then you get a new gown. There are no call buttons in any room and asking for a simple glass of ice - never got it. It basically is a 5-story 2 patient per room warehouse where they house you to be left behind and die. 4 people share a jack/jill bathroom that can't fit a wheelchair and has 1 commode and 1 sink. The staff in the term area don't care when being approached. Frightfully bad. Came home and had a stiff drink to unnerve my senses.

Response: I wish I would have seen this before I put my parent in there for rehab. Its disgusting in there. If I can I will have him moved. They leave his urine bottle and tell him they will get it later. when they bring his meal they set it beside the urine bottle. OMGosh. Its dirty. They have so much stuff in the hallways you have to watch not to trip over anything. The front doors you are correct are always open noone at the front desk.

Response: This place is open 24-7 with no security just come and go as you please this goes for the patients no one ever checks on them when they wheel their chairs outside with the alarms going off. My parent is there what a dirty understaffed unclean bug and fly infested only for profit nursing parent has only been here for 6 weeks and I'm ready to move him still checking out other places in the glen burnie area does anyone know of a nicer place ready to move him out

Response: Believe me I now day you mean be there and its just gross.

Response: Your right gross gross dirty understaffed got my aunt out of there as soon as possible she's been there only a few months she had an eye infection uti infection stomach bug always all of a sudden sick gee could it be. From the billion flies on all the food and tables and being left in your wet soiled diaper for 10 hrs or more.?gee let me think about it.glen burnie rehab center is a dirt hole if you have to live there if your in rehab for therapy at least you can escape after a few months

Response: All I got to say about this place is I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this filthy under staffed place. With all lazy workers.trying to hid out so they don't have to help anyone out.
