We've had a great experience so far with College Manor. It's a smaller place, and I feel like my father is getting a lot of individual attention, and they are really getting to know him. They're very hands on, and actively work with the residents to try and figure out activities that will get them out of their shells. The staff are very friendly and treat the residents with respect.

I have no complaints whatsoever about the service College Manor provides. The employees are compassionate and caring and they do an excellent job looking after the residents. The community itself is beautiful, I would definitely recommend them to others. In the 2 years my loved one was there they were wonderful.

The staff is tremendous at College Manor! They care about their residents and their needs. They are always very polite and courteous. They always put a smile on my great aunts face. They are very nice to guests as well, and have complimentary guest meals for visitors. Their food is of great quality and better than other assisted living communities I have visited. They are able to accommodate most living situations and what the resident needs in order to feel comfortable and to get around.

We visited College Manor in Lutherville last month to visit an extended family member that was there. I was extremely impressed with the community from the moment we arrived. It is in a beautiful location in Lutherville and has a wonderful feeling as you enter the main building. The grounds were very well maintained, although there was quite a bit of snow when we visited. They did a great job of clearing all of the outdoor pathways for safety. The common areas were very nicely kept, and had a bright airy feeling to them. The rooms were very clean and had easy to use furniture which was important for our family members limited mobility. The staff seemed to genuinely care about each of the residents rather than just going through the motions. We liked the memory care programs that they had available and saw this as a big benefit for the community. They also had a number of different activities each day that the staff ran for the residents including bingo, sing-a-longs and even Wii Bowling.

My mom was in College Manor. The staff and the rooms were both great. It was really nice. The rooms were pretty large, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. She also loved the meals they provided. They had musicians come in and play, Bingo, and crafts. She loved living at College Manor and she was happy there.

My stepmom has been living in College Manor for the past month now. We’re getting her settled in so I have been spending a lot of time there. College Manor offers a very competitive price. They have extensive physical and mental activities. They have classes. It’s a very comprehensive for such a small and intimate community. There are about only 30 residents there. It’s a very secure environment. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The residents there are very friendly and they love the place. This is much more convenient for us to manage her care and take care of things.

My Mom has been a resident of College Manor for over 4 years. The care she has received is the best, and the staff are all so loving in their interactions with her. When Mom 1st moved in, her primary need was for medication management. As her needs for care are changing due to the health issues with which she now struggles, College Manor's staff promptly addresses the issues involved, steps up the level of her care accordingly, and communicates directly and in a timely manner with me as well. College Manor has become my "home-away-from-home" as I am made to feel so welcome whenever I visit Mom. In summary, I can't say enough about the comfort I experience with my Mom living at College Manor. I highly recommend this retirement/assisted living community.

Great staff and a great place to live. About two years ago we moved my father-in-law to College Manor because he could not live alone anymore. The staff was great the entire time he lived there. Sadly he passed away recently. There is not a better place to put your loved ones in.

My mother has been a resident of College Manor for over 2 years now. She has her own private room. It's in Lutherville so it's close to myself and all of my sisters. The staff is fantastic. The rooms are fantastic. The room looked nice and much more spacious than other assisted living communities that we visited in the area. They get three meals a day plus snacks and they basically can come and go. They have a beautiful dining room downstairs that they go to where they can order off a menu. They can have the food delivered to their room. They have a bunch of trips. They have musicians come which is really, really nice.

College Manor is truly a wonderful place. My father has been there for three years and they take great care of him. The staff is warm and always willing to help. They are a great team and their owner and management is exceptional. I have never had a problem that they were not right on top of immediately. However, there have so rarely been any problems and they are always so minor, I know they runs a smooth ship. The rooms are comfortable, the lounge well appointed, the grounds are beautiful, and the social activities are plentiful.

We had checked around quite a few places in the Towson area looking for assisted living for my mother-in-law. We did quite a bit of research and College Manor in Lutherville had very good recommendations.
We moved my mother-in-law there about 8 months ago and didn't have to go anywhere else. She has never complained about being there, and she is an honest woman and would do so if she wasn't happy. She is completely satisfied with the activities, the food, and the service. The surroundings are great and it has been a rewarding experience for all of us to work with College Manor.

College Manor was the best decision I ever made. After three other local assisted livings failed us, I was ready to bring Mom back home with me. I checked College Manor out based on a tip from a coworker. Turned out great for Mom and Me. The staff is great and Mom settled in faster then I ever expected. Thank you College Manor for 3 great years. I'm not sure how else to say it, but...... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

My mother has been a resident at College Manor for almost three years. Previously, she was in a larger independent living facility in Towson. As her health declined and she needed more attention and a more home-like environment so we moved her to College Manor. We discovered College Manor through a family friend who is involved in the senior care business. This industry knowledgeable person placed College Manor at the top of her list. We were very fortunate to discover a smaller, caring facility like College Manor. After touring College Manor we knew that this was the place for our mother to spend the final days of her life. The facility wasn’t a big institutional warehouse, but rather a “home” that Mom felt comfortable with. From the very beginning, Mom loved the care she received and has loved the home cooking. She is kept scrupulously clean. Instead of seeing “new faces” all the time when visiting, many of the same great staff has been there for Mom’s entire stay. That continuity is helpful because they are experienced in all her needs and quirks. I've been visiting the facility at almost every time of day and night. It is consistently clean, smells good, and is very consistent – just like the very first day we visited. All of the staff are wonderful, caring people. I have highly recommended College Manor to many other families and would not hesitate to continue recommending to any potential caretaker making a life decision for a loved one.

Response: I toured College Manor a few times recently. I have found it neat and clean, with life at its best. Residents are living with high esteem and honor. Quality of life being offered by the organizers is of a high standard. Activities have been thoroughly planned to offer all residents an opportunity to generate a healthy spirit and an atmosphere of love and care. Staff employed on duty has always been forthcoming to look after the needs of residents and providing them every facility they desire. Persons are treated as family members and they really enjoy the relationship of trust. I have talked to the residents who all very extremely happy. They shared their thoughts and experience of living here and were satisfied. Diet schedule is very balanced and nutritious. Overall, I would rate this facility very high and recommend it.

Response: College Manor is a very good community and we are very happy with them. What really stood out to me about College Manor is that the interior is very well maintained and very clean. It seemed to be much better then the comparable communities in the area. The food is very good and overall it is just a very nice community that we are happy to be a part of.

Our mother has lived at College Manor for the past year. She is very happy there and well cared for. She has made friends, she participates in many activities that are enjoyable and meaningful for her, and she can retreat to her suite when she wants to be alone to read or visit with family.
Staff will come check on her from time to time, bring her her medications, invite her to activities and remind her about meals.
She can also go on outings when she wants to and we know that she is safe and well-supervised while she is out with the group. She enjoys these outings!
The staff know all the residents and are warm and affectionate with the residents as well as being very professional and caring. I find it easy to communicate with the staff and they are responsive to our Mom's changing needs. They keep us updated as to what is going on with Mom.
I visit every day, so I have the opportunity to observe the staff interacting with my Mom, the other residents and their family members, and with each other. I like the people who work at College Manor and they seem to like working there. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the setting is homelike. The staff know all the residents and can always tell me where my Mom was most recently (she moves pretty quickly with her four-wheeled walker!). The word I would use most to describe the people who work at College Manor is kind. These are very kind and dedicated professionals.
Mom likes the meals and also the snacks. There is always fresh fruit, water, and juice available to the residents any time.
There are special events, celebrations and festivities every week so that it is also a fun place to be. We are very grateful that College Manor had an opening at the time that we needed to move Mom there and that she has thrived there.
