We are VERY disappointed in Arcola Rehab Center. Mom stayed 20 days and got only one time Dr vist!! at 7am!!
Their NP was like a ghost when my mother fell and hit her face and was bleeding she didn't try to give a hand and let the morning nurses to help stop the bleeding.
Medical staff needs to be improved. Management staff ( Tish and Suleman) need to behave better with their residents and be more professional. Physical therapist department staff are the best in this rehab. Nurse Jean and Remandeve are the best staff in that rehab.
I wouldn't recommend this Arcola Rehab Center to anyone I know because I didn't see anybody smiles there and it looks more jail than rehab.

We were VERY dissapointed in Arcola Rehabilitation Center. Mom fell and broke her hip and came here after the hospital stay. Mom is aware and social but has dementia. Unfortunately, Arcola kept her so medicated that she was hardly able to benefit from the physical therapy. We also stopped by one morning to find her lying in urine and they wanted her to eat her breakfast like that before they cleaned her up. We had even supplied Depends for her but they didn't use them. We told them to quit all medications that would make her drowsy but by the next couple of days, without our permission, they had their psychologist prescribe Zyprexa and Remeron--an anti-psychotic drug for a quiet little lady of 86? This was totally unacceptable and I would not recommend Arcola for any elderly people with dementia.

Response: I agree with you 100% this also happend to my parent
