Bayada abandoned my family when we needed them most. I would not recommend them to any family with a seriously ill loved one. On one occassion, they sent an inexperienced nurse who couldn't draw blood. After missing veins three times, the nurse drew some blood, but the blood was not able to be tested because of inappropriate handling during transport to the lab. On another occassion, the nurse simply didn't show up for a scheduled home visit, even after we called them because of the urgency of the patient's medical condition. The nurse told us she was only minutes away, but she never arrived. This was a not a case of getting lost, as she had been to our home previously. This outfit is unprofessional.
