This is the worst place u could ever send a loved one! They are ignored, amid cries for help, I saw a woman lying on the floor asking for help and no one listened and just let her lay there. I feel guilty for putting my mother here. She only lasted not even two weeks and went in there healthy. They dont even call u when the patients are sent to the Emergency room OR ICU when they go from there. They neglected my mother! And thats how it happened! NEGLECT FROM LAZY PEOPLE THAT SIT THERE AND EAT AND TALK ALL DAY INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF THE PATIENTS. I was warned beforehand when she first went in by a nurse to WATCH HER and I should have been more aware but I thought she was being taken care of. Now I know better and nothing can be done.
They should be thankful I didnt sue them. Just dont put your loved one there because they will not return to u.

Do not send a loved one to this facility. The medical professional staff are incompetent and uncaring for the defenseless elderly they are being trusted with by family members. They do their work begrudingly and ridicule patients after being asked for assistsnce.

My husband was a patient at Courtyard. The only good thing about the place is the
physical therapy which is excellent. The staff seemed very unhappy and went about their
duties grudgingly. My husband was rushed to Lahey due to their neglect and the state
did an investigation. Just as aside, my husbands roommate had c-diff a highly contagious
infection which results in constant bowel problems. We were never told about this and
only learned of it from the infected patient.
Happily my husband is in a nice place, Arnold House, in Stoneham and we are very pleased.

I would not send someone I love to this facility. The care is horrible. My mother was here and was unable to move without assistance. When I went to visit her she was complaining of back pain. When a nurse rolled her to her side she was laying on a spray bottle. When my mom passed away while here, I was told I had 20 min to move her body. The staff was not at all sympathetic to the fact that we had just lost someone we loved. The quality of care from the nurses was unacceptable the staff was not very attentive when we had to call for assistance they acted as if it was a bother to be called. very disappointed in the care received. Understaffed,,unhappy, and uncaring staff. However I do have to say that the physical therapy staff was very helpful.

Do no send a loved one to the Courtyard Rehab unless you do not want them to come home. My mother was sent there after gall bladder removal and in the two weeks she was there, her condition became worse and worse until she passed from sepsis. No one listened to our complaints about pains in her stomach. I dont even know if a doctor was contacted once. The Rehab didnt even call me when she was rushed to the Emergency room on the day she awoke unresponsive. I got a call from the Emergency Room in the Hospital 4 hours later. The Rehab called the wrong number and just left a message, never even contacting me directly! How does someone die from spesis in a Rehab? Terrible care and failure to see/care when someone is failing instead of getting better, which is why you go there in the first place. I am giving this Rehab one star because I have to click on something but in reality, if I knew then what I know now about this place, I would have never sent my mother to this place. Just BEWARE and watch EVERY move they make...or you too could lose one of your loved ones.

Response: I don't blame you! You are 100% correct!Did you know on the very first night when she was send to the hosiptal, she was sleeping next to a patient who was coughing and sneezing all day and all night during the week,I don't think my mom couldn't sleep well. After a week she was ready to go to the courtyard for rehab, she was send there by Armstrong. It was a VERY,VERY COLD NIGHT for a woman over 90.When she was there, one hour later she got a fever.Lifeline came over, took her out the courtyard, drop a blanklet on top her,I don't know if had first blanklet on her,
after the equipments were setup inside the van, they cover the blanklet and put her in.Brought her to ER and left her out in the hallway for over over 4 to 5 hrs,the room was COLD,she only have one blanklet at the time when I saw her at the hallway.WOW!After that ,she was at the x-ray room, bad news, then she was send to intense care, next morning, bad news, critical care, week later, bad news, hospice care, week later, bad news, she died.Remember this, avoid exposure to a person who are ill with respiratory infection. I am alone and I lost my loved one too.

Response: I agree!!!! Ever since my grandfather got there he went down hill!! They never got water at all, and stayed in bed the whole day!! NEVER SEND A LOVED ONE HERE OR THEY WONT COME HOME!
