Staff is still rude and insulting. Always late in contacting family about slip and falls, change in mental status. The sedate here. More like over medicate to keep you quiet.

Nursing staff is extremely rude and lack the patience required to deal with elderly patients - especially those with dimmensia. Will not let my father stay there again. Found out that he was sedated for an entire day for no reason; received an infection while there.

Follow up to my post of 9/08/2015: The nurse practitioner was not responsible for calling the ambulance. Southeast Rehab is at fault. Per the director and a head nurse, there is NO protocol in place as to when the ambulance is called, or if there is a delay, health care proxy is not notified. My apologies to the Nurse Practitioner.

The PT and OT are outstanding, facility is clean, grounds are beautiful, food is good. Cons: Hoyer accident was not reported until family member noted the next day, long term care floor only has 1 nurse for entire wing at times on a regular basis, Nurse Practitioner asked family member if patient should go stay at facility or go to ER. ER was requested, ambulance was not called for1 1/2 hours. E cigarettes use in room do not have a policy in place.
