My Grandmother was here and it was a great experience for both of us. It was the first time she ever needed to go to a rehab and both my grandma and I learned a great deal. She kept saying she felt like she was in a hotel and they kept her well entertained and moving. The staff were very compassionate to our needs coming in and getting her home. I would recommend this place to everyone, and just wanted to say thank to the wonderful people at Lifecare Center of Stoneham.

my mother has just been here a few days, but they seemed unprepared for her arrival and when I visited today her roommate, who has dementia, left the room and was downstairs trying to get out the front door to get home. The alarm on her bed was going off for several minutes and several staff passed by the room without checking. I thought she was in the bathroom; otherwise would have said something. She had to walk by a nurses station, take an elevator, and nobody noticed? Comforting.

Communication here is bad. You can tell a nurse about an issue and you never hear anything back from a doctor or anyone for that matter. The rehab and activities are good but the care is average.

I wouldn't put my dog in this place. My parent was there for 2 days and the quality of care was the worst. It took six hours for a nurse to check her. Universal precautions WERE NOT USED!!! This place should be shut down by the State.
