Response: I also would not recommend this facility to anyone. My mother went there for rehab. She entered the facility doing extremely well after surgery. In her second week, after waiting 3 days to be seen by a doctor and falling unattended in the bathroom, we had her taken to the emergency room in Norwood for care. She died the following morning.

11/15/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: I would not recommend the Maples to a friend. My mother was there for rehabilitation and it seemed that their answer to any problem was to give her more medication. She was walking and talking and feeding herself we she entered, 10 days later she was sent to the hospital by ambulance as she could no longer walk, talk or feed herself. The staff at the hospital was shocked at all the drugs in her system.
That said, the nurses at the Maples were great.
