Fisrt of all my Grandmother had knee surgery done. So she has a very hard time getting in and out of bed.ok heres what happened my first and only visit. Oh and I was only there a little over an hour. This facility is dirty. The bathroom floor was wet and my grandmother is using a walker for God sake! They have too many young adults still in there first years of school working there. The LPN that was working was very rude and raised her voice at my Grandmother after coming with her pain medication an HOUR late. Then my Grandmother ask her for a glass of water and she took her old glass of pop and filled it and it still had pop in it!(she did'nt bother to rinse the pop out first). I asked the new Aide(the other was relieved of her shift) that came in if she could let the nurse know that my grandmother was due for her pain medication 20 mins ago(she was due at 7pm) and she said yes. Well come to find out she told the wrong nurse. I had to help my Grandmother get up out of her bed to get to the bathroom becuase she was so embarassed from messing herself earlier that day because noone responded to her after she pushed her button a million times. And when I went to the LPN to let her know my Grandmother needed her medication she told me that she needed to press her button. I told her she did(I sat right there watching her in pain pushing that button)and I was right there when she did and she needs to get down there and give her something now!And when I went back to her room I had my Grandmother press her button and I went out of her room to see if it worked and low and behold it did! Now what does that tell ya? I strongly discourage anybody to go or put anyone you love in this facility! They are not organized, hygenic and they lack communication with the elderly. Thank you for reading. Have a nice day. Lynn
