Whatever you do, do not take your loved one to this nursing home!! I can't express that enough!! Yes it has the right address, Bloomfield Hills and looks very nice but that is all. The care is terrible. They are short staffed. Not nearly enough aides to take care of patients. The head nurse does not return calls when you have concerns. The food is awful. I could go on and on. My mother-in-law came out of there is worse shape then when she went in and had to return to Beaumont Hospital. Very expensive, for such poor care. I would never want anyone else to go through what my mother-in-law did.

My brother in law was recently a patient at Woodward Hills N.C. The facility and grounds are beautiful surrounded by trees, fountains, courtyards. We he first arrived we thought we would need Hospice as he medical condition had declined significantly. The medical director and clinical staff evaluated him and initiated new medication, therapy treatments, dietary interventions and he was discharged HOME and is able to work in his garden and enjoy life again. This is a true testimate to the care the staff provided at Woodward Hills. My family is extremely grateful for the staff's interventions and care they provided to my brother in law. Instead of planning for a funeral - we are planning a family reunion!!

PATIENTS ARE IGNORED, NURSE CALL LIGHTS IGNORED, PATIENTS LEFT IS SOILED BRIEFS FOR HOURS. UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH OVER SEEING DR. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS. 80% OF STAFF UNFRIENDLY AND STANDING AROUND TALKING, IGNORING PATIENT LIGHTS. MY PARENTS HAVE HAD TO CALL ME AT HOME, TO CALL THE NURSES DESK SO THEY CAN GET HELP. PLACE IS ONLY GOOD FOR TOTALLY INDEPENDENT PATIENTS. I AM A NURSE. CARE IS VERY SUB-STANDARD. I HAVE TO HIRE SITTERS OVERNIGHT BECAUSE NO ONE CHECKS ON MY PARENTS. WILL NEVER USE A BEAUMONT FACILITY AGAIN
