User Reviews

If you want an honest opinion from someone who has had their loved one in this home, do NOT do it. We thought we were getting the right care for my grandmother, and it turned into this business stealing from us and having to take them to court. They accused my grandmother of 'ruining' the carpet in her bedroom, taking her memorial donations from her funeral and using it for new carpet and a barbeque grill when we intended it to be used for a statue in her honor. This facility is the most unprofessional establishment in Brighton. My mother made great friends with the owner over the year and a half my grandma was there, only for her to turn her back and steal from my family, and accuse my grandma of unjust things when my grandma was the most caring and loving woman. It makes me sick to think that this business is still in business, and I hope you take my words and experience into high consideration.

Move your loved one into Devonshire Manor, a warm, respect-filled assisted living and independent living community, and get the best care available in Brighton, MI. Assisted living offers a healthy, secure, and supportive environment for seniors who need help with day-to-day tasks but who still want to retain their self-sufficiency. Why choose an assisted living community? Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. When you are self-sufficient but want to be in the company of your peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy amenities and services geared towards seniors. Intended for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with an abundance of community amenities, services, and programs tailored specifically for seniors. You'll have your own private space, so you can bring your favorite furniture, photos, and cookware. You’ll be able to spend time pursuing activities that you enjoy since tasks commonly associated with homeownership will be taken care of. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. Devonshire Manor helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. There are assisted living and independent living services available in this community. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help as you need it, with the goal of supplying the aid required to stay as self-sufficient as possible. When seniors are self-sufficient but want to be in the company of peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy a variety of amenities and services.
