Maintance people do a great job, when able to keep up. A little bit understaffed and the dark one can sing very good. The chefs can make killer food but the guy gets a little cranky to often. The office ladies are very nice but lazy no team work comming from them only to figure out how to make their job someone elses. but other then all that it is a half way decient place.

My mother has lived at Glenhaven Manor for many years, she has always been quite happy. Its not perfect but nowhere is. She has always had her requests for service repaired in a timely manor. I feel that you have a very approachable staff. My mother and I highly recommend Glenhaven Manor.

I recently moved into Glenhaven. Michelle was so helpful during this whole process. It was a hard decision to move but she had an answer for everything. She went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything that I needed. The whole staff has been a blessing. They made me feel very welcome and accommodated.

I am an eldercare advisor with A Place for Mom and have been able to help many many families move to Glenhaven Manor. I have always received very positive feedback from new residents and their families when checking back after the move. They all comment on the friendliness of the staff and other residents, the wonderful meals, and the new found social life that their loved ones are now enjoying. Time after time after a new resident I assisted moves in, I receive a phone call from the family with heartfelt thanks for introducing them to Glenhaven Manor.

Response: Stairs????????? Three elavators service the building which is barrier free. There is NO need to use any stairway. I have not seen any worn carpeting or dangerous areas on the stairs in my 3 years here. The hallways and lobby are vacuumed on a regular schedule. With 133 units a spot or two will occur, I guess.

Response: I suggest the resident check out stairway 6 for worn, possibly dangerous spots. Also cast your eyes down to the floor and observe the torn carpet around elevator B entrances.

Stairways are incredibly dangerous for elderly: worn and torn carpeting which desperately needs vacuuming. Cleanliness doesn't exist!
Staff seems invisible and when hunted down, less than helpful.

You should know that the the recently "POSITIVE" reviews were written by Glenhaven current staff. Some of these comments are not just great exaggerations just actual lies to increase the rating.

The staff are caring and freindly. Grandma always has something to do, whether it's art class, a trip to the museum or quilting....they have a lot to choose from! They are close to a pharmacy and shopping which is convenient and they offer on-site care....a definate plus.

My grandmother has lived here for years. There has been the occasional bump in the road, but the new staff is amazing. I really love the attention to the details. My grandmother has never been more pleased with her apartment than this year. She loves her neighbors and really enjoys the activities. The new staff even has all the parking lot lights working!

Very disappointing facility!!! I have a parent there that has had problem after problem and no management deals with the issues that arise. Then theres huge problems with the staff there as well. Its a wonder why anyone stays!!!

I was in the area the other day, and thought I would look at Glenhaven Manor for both sets of Grandparents. I guess I came on a bad day...Monday? Well the office was closed so I thought I would sit down in the lobby....well I waited and waited and finally a resident asked if I needed some help, I explained and she said, not sure what to say, the office is closed more than open during business hours. I moved on.

An elderly family member currently lives at this property. New management has come in and the atmosphere has gone down hill. Residents report feeling insulted and talked down to by the property manager, who has told them that their concerns are not legitimate. A recent snowfall left main sidewalks snow covered all weekend, putting residents at risk for serious injury. Be sure to talk to some residents if you are considering moving to this place or checking it out for a beloved family member.
