Delay in meeting patient's needs. Head Nurse ignored request to assist patient, saying she is not on my side of wing. She refused to assist during a medical emergency. Many no shows of LPNs during the night shifts and weekends, and others worked double shifts. The same LPNs who were good were over-worked, under appreciated, and were very good based on what was handed to them. They were short changed nightly. Due to this, family member was denied services: water, changings, etc. Patient complained all day, wanted to be sent to hospital. Actions denied, and finally they sent her to the hospital 12 hrs later, and she DIED.
