Not enough CNA's or LPN/RN's for the resident's needs having more than 12 patients is crazy because you can't spend the quality of time with the with the patient that they need. If it weren't for the residents paying the wages of the staff that works at this place then this place and many others like it would not exist. I guarntee that it is not the CNA'S, LPN'S or the RN'S making the wage but some of the higher up linning their pockets and they cut hours and staff for all the ones who actually do the work and are interactive with the residents. Having 16 or more residents to one CNA or Nurse is way to many. Having to wait 25 minutes to go to the bathroom is harmful to the elderly. How do you feel when you have to wait "you begin to have pain" how do you think these elderly feel, oh that's right as long as you get there money it's not about them right because YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE ELDERLY! You want there money but they can't have any say in how they want to be treated. I can't really rate the Quality of Care because the CNA'S & LPN'S are doing as much as they can with as many patients that they have to take care of. If your going by the standards of the of the State of Michigan than your standards should be higher and you should do everything possible to keep your residents happy that's what keep people coming back. Your star system in my opinion went from a 5 to a 1.
