11/21/2012 An OurParents User Writes: Tendercare Saginaw is an average sized, for profit, nursing home with 98 beds based in Saginaw, MI. At last check, the facility had 80 residents indicating that it is 82% occupied which is about average within the state of Michigan. The provider accepts both medicare and medicaid programs, and provides resident counseling services.
This nursing home is not located in a hospital or a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). As of November 2012, the medicare rating for Tendercare Saginaw, was 2 stars, which is a lower rating than 63% of nursing homes in Michigan. 07/20/2011 An OurParents User Writes: Do Not Send Your Love One Here... When I Was In Nursing School We Had To Do Clinical At TenderCare.. OMG!!! The Nurses Dont Even Act Or Dress Like A Nurse, There Was Patients That Had Very Bad Body Oder Because They Werent Bathe Or Clean. One Patient Had Claim She Only Takes A Shower Once A Month And She Still Had Two Weeks Left To Go. That Poor Lady Was Bed Bound She Seem In The Right State Of Mind Mentally And We All Do Believe Her Because Of The Order Was So Strong And Bad,Her Whole Room Smelld. When Breakfest Time Came The Nurses Would Put The Patients In Wheel Chairs And Leave Them Sitting In The Wheel Chair Outside There Room Door In The Hallway For An Hour Or So. There Was Alot Of Pateints Just Sitting There With There Head Hanging And The Nurses Acted Like They Didnt Even Care. There Is Non Prefessional Staff Members At Tendercare, How They Act, Talk And Dress. This Place Needs To Be Shut Down A.S.A.P
