I have a family member currently there. I'm not going to reveal all details at the moment other than to say the quality of care he has gotten has been beyond poor, so much so that we discovered the nurses there were flat out LYING about some of the things they said they did for him that they didn't. Some of the staff has been very rude to one of my parents. The impression I get is they don't want my parent to be there helping with my family member, but it's hard to do that when your family member is being treated like crap and you're concerned for their well being. And then to be told not to complain because it'll just make this family member's life worse there. Seriously, is THAT the system we live in? I can't wait to get my family member out of there. Feel bad for anyone that is paying for this garbage, and if there's any karma in this world, I hope those who work there end up having to go through all this one day themselves.

Response: totally agree

The cost listed online is $6,000/month. But my parents are paying $7,300 a month for a tri bed room or $88,000/year. This means three beds in a room, with no place for even a chair to sit when visiting. A two-bed room is $98,000 per year. A single room is $125,000 a year.

As a former employee at Evangelical Home - Saline I can honestly say it is a wonderful place to work. My colleagues were always eager to give a helping hand. The residents are well taken care of, happy and engaged.
