I was impressed with the care given by both the day and night staffs and the OT and PT people were very persuasive and helpful. The meal time staff was always pleasant and helpful.

When my elder friend needed care, I loved his dementia ward at the Masonic Home. When my mom needed postoperative spine surgery care, her rehab unit nurses (2nd floor) were not attentive or organized, forgetting pain meds and sometimes argumentative when confronted with forgotten meds. A call button was shut off quickly but care would not come for 40 minutes. Staff spoke to us like we were naughty children. (I am 57, mother 80).

the management is does not listen to the employees. they think they are gods and that no body is above them. they do not have common sense, and they like to take sides quickly. they forget that this is a small world. well, that is the last place i will ever choose to send any of my loved ones.
