User Reviews

12/26/2012  -  An OurParents User Writes:

My mother lived at Norris Square for several months and I would never recommend it to anyone. The nursing staff and residential services director had no compassion for the residents. there is no program for welcoming a new resident into the community and making them feel welcome. I finally moved my mother to another facility where she was welcomed with open arms and made to feel appreciated rather than just a number.

My mother spent one year in the memory care area at Norris Square. The aids and nurses were exceptional in the care they gave her. They were never rushed when they cared for her. My father lived in their Kindred Care for 12 days before he passed away. Again, the care he received from the nurses and aids was very good. I did, however, have problems with one of the managing employees. The biggest of these problems involved their staff losing my mother's hearing aids. They took no responsibility for losing the hearing aide. They used the excuse of it not being a part of her care plan. We were not told of a loading and unloading dock when we moved my mother in. This staff member nearly flipped out when we moved a matress in through the front door.
