This is a nursing home i would suggest you stay away from. The Rehab staff are lazy and unproductive. They have no motivation and have a pretty good thing going on for them. Just to note it isnt a place to go if you plan on getting any better to return to life. The CNA staff do a wonderful job as they really try. The lack of managment that really knows what is going on seems to be a downside. They sure talk the talk until your in there and you can really see the staff really departs in the afternoon. Not a good rating that i can provide!!

THE CERTIFIED NURSES ASSISTANTS IN THIS FACILITY ARE AVERAGE DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS AND LAZY AND NOT HELPFUL AT NIGHT. THEY FIND EMPTY ROOMS AND GO SIT ON THE PHONE ALL NIGHT. DURING THE DAY YOU HAVE SOME THAT ARE VERY GOOD AND SOME THAT ARE VERY POOR. THE NURSING STAFF IS NOT VERY GOOD AT MANAGING THE CNAS.

Response: Agree !! My mother was there and please do not put your loved ones in there or any nursing home if can be avoided. There are many services for in home care ,especially if the person has medicaid. I personally know from experience that nursing home care should be the last resort. Our family members lose all dignity when placed in a nursing home,it's like a death sentence to them.

Response: I agree, my mom is currently in brandon court. no concern what so ever for the residents, nothing but bingo for activities. its about saving money for the for profit corporation & the residents be damned. 1 nurse for 58 residents on 11-7 shift & 28-30 residents per nurse on day shift. very high staff turnover. administrative staff couldnt care less about resident complaints & concerns. AVOID!

My father was at this facility for less than a month. He fell 3-4 times while he was there and the last time he fell he laid in the floor for 20 minutes before being found lying on the floor and his room was near the nurses station. The aids would leave him on the potty, leave the room and come back when they could. When he pushed the help button it would take sometimes over 10 minutes before someone checked on him. The nursing staff was short handed and some just didn't seem to care at all. I went by to see my father in the mornings and evening so I witnessed most of what I am saying. IF YOU TRULY LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THEM AT THIS FACILITY. When I told daddy we were taking him home he was so proud and said please get me out of this "jail house".

Be very watchful if you have a love one in this facility. We were very unhappy with communication and staff.

THE CARE AND ATTENTION GIVEN TO MY FATHER WAS GOOD.

My aunt was a resident of Brandon Court Nursing Facility and I was very disatifatified with the care. She was forced to go to in house hospice. She was also dropped per the staff at Brandon court, To no avail from the Adminstative staff we( the family and I) never heard anything else regarding this. We were just forced with so many calls from the Medicare nurse to apply for Hospice care. Although Hospice was forced, my aunt was moved to very warm enviroment. Care per same staff, Very calm. I would come feed my aunt daily and I was never in the building with the same caregivers. They have no continuity of care. I have overheard staff being chewed out per Administative personnel in open areas of the building.
