My mother was at Landmark Nursing Center min Horn Lake, Ms receiving rehab services. I was extremely dissatisfied with the care provided for my mother. Cleanliness: When we arrived at the center, there was bowel movement on the toilet seat. Nursing care: I brought a pain issue to the nursing staff's attention & they refused to call the doctor on duty for something stronger than Tylenol. I was then told that "if her pain was that bad, to take her to the Emergency room". The overall mood of the center was depressing. A small percentage of the CNA staff had very unfriendly attitudes. For any concerns I had, each staff member "blamed the other" for the lack of coordination, responsiveness & poor attitudes that I witnessed. I had many other concerns that were either not handled at all or managed with a bad attitude. I did experience some very nice, kind staff members. Will never go there again, I recommend the same for you. By the way, I am a nurse.

Have gone a few times with my friend to visit her mother. An ok place for what I can see. CNA's could smile a little more like they are visisting their g/parents.Rooms are a little small and cramped. They do need new beds that don't have the cranks on the end of the bed.

This facility has too much turnover in the administrative position, current administrator has no idea what's going on in facility and has no interaction with residents or family members! The Director of Nursing and her staff have been the only bright spot of this facility!

Response: Totally agree with this comment. As of now the Director of Nursing is no longer there which is so sad because she cared so much for the residents. The new Administrator is making this place very unstable. Hope the owner stands up to help save this place.

Response: Oh please. YOU dont realize whats REALLY going on! The owner/VP IS the problem. Thats why
there is so much turnover when it comes to
Administors. He undermines the Administrator with the Department Directors. Shows up and creats a lot of chaos, laughs about it, then leaves.
The Administrator is constantly screamed at while dealing with back stabbing Directors. Thats why there is turnover, they get fed up.
