I don't see how the Department of Health allows Chadwick to stay open, and how they got four-five stars is beyond me. The odor is disgusting and the carpet is extremely ugly. I wouldn't put a stray dog in the place. Residents sit in the hallway begging to go to the bathroom, crying, begging to lie down because they are in pain or are bored to tears...literally. Constant turnover of nurses and CNAs. Rude, loud staff using profanity in front of residents and visitors, constant HIPAA violations. There is nothing good about Chadwick.

It's obvious management doesn't care about the horrible staff turnover rates as they do nothing to retain staff. HIPAA regulations are constantly violated. Nurses stand in the hallway and yell out that a resident is soiled, and they use profanity in the presence of other residents.
New staff are bullied to the point they leave after only one or two shifts.
There is an almost constant odor of stale urine and feces, and residents are lined up in the hallways like cattle, begging to lie down or to go to the bathroom, and sit in soiled briefs and clothing for hours.
If you are looking for a job Wal-Mart would be a better option until something else comes along. If you have a job don't leave it to go to Chadwick. You will regret it immensely.
The only good thing I can say about Chadwick is the Director of Nursing is a very compassionate, caring lady. Would love to see her in a better place where she is appreciated and her efforts to improve things are not ignored.
