Pros: Meeting the residents.

Cons: Supervisor, pay, unnotified warnings(unless you're lazy and never show up, then you have 6 second chances), unappriciative, unreliable, unrealistic expectations, major harrassment.

Worked for them almost a year, never missed, gave notice if unable to show (only two occurrences). Constantly harrassed by supervisor, no benefits unless worked for certain amount of hours and even if you get benefits it doesn't cover much at all.

No understanding of other's needing time off. Constant changing of schedule and sometimes unreliable co workers although most are kind. Residents were the only good thing there. They will hire anyone, and keep the lazy workers, very unappriciative. Highly recommend any other job pay-wise. Keep your dignity and never offer them your labor. A true shame for a place to have good intentions for the elderly.

PCrystal Oaks very hard on staff. An fd does not treat everryone fair. Also may want to check on recent federal and state reviews. You maybe surprised.

I was employed at Crystal Oaks and my co-workers were excellent. The D.O.N. is not personable or sympathetic with staff. This facility has notollerance policy for absences, if you are hospitalized you still get wrote up. If a parent or family member passes away and you miss work , you get wrote up if you take more than 3 days off to grieve. They are frequently short staffed and management is awful. The residents are well taken care of thanks to the floor nurses, CNA's and CMT's.

Response: I know how that is my little girl was in an horrible car accident and i got fired because i used most of my call outs on her and when i get stuck in my drive way and couldnt get out i lost my job. The don is not sympathitic at all if it happened to there kids it would be a different story. The facility has excellent care for residents not staff.
