The staff at Gainesville Health Care Center helped me tremendously during my family members stay. When I walked in the door I didn't smell any odors and they always kept his room as well as everywhere I went very clean. The staff were always willing to help and when you have a big family it can be difficult to please everyone. I would recommend Gainesville Health Care Center to anyone that needed long-term care.

There needs to be a lot of improvement in the Gainesville Health Care Center. I have a mom there and the staff is not very alert, she is there for physical theropy on her legs and arm and stated in her records that she needs assistance. They neglect to come and check on her to see if she needs to go to the bathroom or needs anything. I have been there any were from 4-6 hours per visit and not once did a nurse check on her to see if she need to go to the restroom or need to be changed. It is not the families responsibity to have to retrieve a nurse. They just toss durty cloths on the closet floor instead of putting in laundry bag, loose item of clothing and forget patients when it comes to meal time.
