I agree! This company out of St Charles thinks showing up twice a year to fire employees sets a good example and is the answer, WoW! terrible company and i feel sorry for the residents and employees!

We are having problems now with Adams place. It appears no matter have often we complain the problem still exist. Our grandma is totally bedridden but is of sound mind. She has cancer in her back and needs to be turned every 2 hours. At night we are having problems with them turning her and she is in pain and crying when we get there in the mornings. She says she hits the button and they come in and turn it off and leave. We are on a waiting list for another facility and have had meetings Adams and Hospice. Does anyone have a recommendation for our next step?

Response: They are all the same, they are nursing homes!

If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT let them live here. My father has called me several times complaining that he has "had an accident" and was unable to get anyone to help him to the restroom after having his assistance light and button held for 15+ minutes. He has also had many of his breathing treatments missed, citing that the reason was because the nurse or aid on duty was simply "too busy" was what he was told.
Administration of this facility needs a complete change, this place needs to be closed down.

Response: I am a ex employee. And I will not lie! It is true that the residents are unattended. The employees leave on the clock. And nothing is done. The administrater comes in open his door so it looks like he's there. And tells employees that if corp. Calls to tell him he's in a meeting so the office can call him and he can call back. The employees there bully others. Treat residents bad. There's no director of nursing there. Acting at this time. And she changes statement and back dates narcs. They are always under staff. And office ppl always gone. They say their salary that they had no choice so they leave on clock. U have to call acting don at home to get her. They use company van for personal use. I could go on and on. But corp. Does nothing. They have lost 2 nurses a cmt .aides. Due to hurrasment of employees that have been there over 7 yes. If u don't do what they make it hard on u and u end up quiting. U think corp.would get the point!!!! This place needs shut down. Don't take ur love ones there.

Response: The staff and Admin is great! My dad has been there for 5 years and i am happy with it all! It sounds like there have been some disgruntled employees leave this facility. There are always two sides to the story.

If you go to this joint do not expect the normal amenities like the foresight to leave your wheelchair close enough that you can get to it so that you can go to the bathroom on your own or failing that someone to answer the call light for assistance. If you like being stranded long enough that you have no choice except to wet the bed this is the place for you. It goes down hill from here. How about electric adjustable beds? I am sure they have heard of them but don't expect to see one or anyone to raise or lower the antiquated beds they do have. If you have needs you wish to remain unsatisfied this the place for you. To be fair there were 3 people that did an excellent job but they were the exception and overworked and appreciated for all they tried to do.

i used to do my clinicals here and this is one of the worst nursing homes i have stepped foot in. the rn's and lpn's are rude to employees and to the elderly that live there. the cna's depending what shift you are on somewhat do their job but curse and talk in front of elderly about things they shouldnt. the over night staff is the worst and laziest of them all...very rude. the shower girl jessica brondel is also extreamly rude and way too comfortable with her job. she is lazy and you can here the residents screaming while in shower that they are cold and she telling them they will be alright until she is done!!! i would not suggest putting any family member here for any reason! also unless you are africian american or male dont plan on working here cause they will not hire you!

Response: I am sorry to report, but at times employees become disgruntled when either terminated or when faced with adversity. It looks like we may have one here. This review is very inaccurate. The employee mentioned here is not an employee of this community. The customer satisfaction rate with this community as noted with the 5 star rating, is very respectful and the top community in the Jefferson City area.

Response: Disgruntled employee or not this is a very accurate description of events that I witnessed. If anything she was too kind!

Response: No she's not lieing!!! Its true. Maybe u should go to Adams st when they are not expecting you to come and see what's going on! Open your eyes and see what's going on. They are upset that stone bridge took over and the employee s that are there from when the other owners had it are mad and don't like change. You have a activities director running ppl out of there. She's racists! Treat whited bad. Uses company money for personal things! Never there! Wake up! Make changes. You have lost great employees in the last 3 months! Your medical records employee had enough she quit to! Make some calls and find out what's going on!!!!
