My mom at age 49 was admitted for rehab services... But stayed in long term care while she received it. There was some wonderful nurses..and a few great techs, but overall the staff was rude, degrading, and would complain about their jobs during patient care. Took them several hours to get you back to bed from wheelchair- one time resulting in my mom sliding out of her chair to floor. Call light never left with pt so big safety risk. Took a week of complaining before a fall risk pt got a diff wheelchair and a bed with two side rails(can we say unsafe?) the trapez bar above her head fell off during use and bruised her head when it fell off and hit her in forehead! Would take several req to be cleaned up,,causing excoriation around ostomy site and oozing into incision (can we say infection!) hadrosaur ask several times to get anxiety or pain meds. Staff would roll eyes at PTs and act like you didn't care. Untrained techs clean ostomy sites with paper towels causing horrible pain. Never saw housekeepers... Dirty towels on floor in room and trash cans never had liners. Besides the therapy treatments I would never req this dump to anyone - you have been warned

Response: I also think is pretty bad that some one needs to always be there to keep an eye on there love ones to make sure they are being taken care of the right way, and keep on top of them instead of them just doing there job, so we as friends and family can leave to go home with a peace of mind, I hope I never have to be put in a place like tmc
