The building and grounds have recently been renovated. With the new look of the grounds you would expect the resident care to match. The truth is that the care is not adequate. There are many employees working 16 hour days. Working these long hours is so draining on the staff members that they can not give residents the quality of care the residents need and are paying for. Before placing your loved one in this facility check with Agency on ageing and ask for the complaints made on Warrenton Manor. Remember, this is care for your loved one and in time could be you.

Response: To whom it may concern. I was reading your post, and I find all the findings you mentioned the truth. I am employed at Warrenton Manner, and I must say. it is a beautiful place, but the care for your loved one's are are lacking. we always.... ALWAYS are working short. so that means the care deserved isn't given. The whole outlook on the staff ( Nurses, and CNA'S ) from the Management is very very poor. We are running out of things constantly. Meds are borrowed from other residents, so the other resident can have their dose etc etc. We are made to stay long hours, from the lack of help. and during our long hours, there are times we do not get breaks, and at times we do not get a lunch. We do not get paid for our lunch break, so that means the staff worked for 30 min for free. We are required to fill the form out for adjustments. That does not happen all the time. Don't get me wrong. I love what I do. I just think the facility needs a major over haul from the top and work it's way down. Somebody needs to come in and talk to all the nurses, and all the aids and get the truth. and not fear that are jobs are in jeopardy. I know some of the aids have been reprimanded in some or form for talking to the inspectors that come in annually. Yes it has been covered up to hide the truth of the write up, suspension, from talking when asked by the inspectors. Health issues that arise with the residents are not documented at times, the behaviors are not always documented. It has been a bumpy ride here. Many staff have quit due to the irresponsibility of the Managment. So if you still want to have your loved one here after reading this, please think it over before making that choice.

Very short of staff especially CNA's and Nurses. Care is poor due to staff shortage. Upper office management
is motivated by cutting back so bonus's are an important factor. Food is lacking in quanity and quality. Cases of abuse are now being discussed. General staff is afraid to come forth at this time-concerned for their jobs. Let the Truth Prevail.
