the facility smells as soon as i walked in the door. My mother was on the tlc unit and the staff there is horrinble!!! When we got there they stuck her in a wheel chair ( she doesn't use one) and left her sit there for over an hour. No water no nurse and noone would answer the light! My mother was left in the bathroom with her help light on pants down around her ankles for over 2 minutes! Totally unacceptable. The aides never answer a call light sooner than 15 minutes. The patients have no privacey and is one of the dirtiest facilities I have ever been in. My mother left in less than 24 hours due to lack of care she recieved. She was admitted after a total shoulder rplacement. I will be reporting you're facility to health department and anyone else i can think of! Also you're medical records are not secure as any employee can pull up physician notes on anyone in the system friends family, enemies,, and you do nothing to correct the problem. Nasty facility!

My mother has lived at Aspen Meadows Nursing Home for over a year now. It was a very hard decision to make. However, we could not be happier with our decision. My mother loves it there. I love knowing she is taken care of and I don't have to worry about her. The staff is very caring and make sure she gets involved in activities. She gets her hair and nails done weekly. There is a church service on Sundays that she attends and also a bible study during the week.

One thing we looked for was cleanliness. It is a very clean facility. It does not have unseemly smells. I have never seen a resident in an undressed state. The staff is very good about the residents keeping their dignity.

They keep me informed of everything that is going on - good and bad. My mother has slipped from her wheelchair, however, when she lived with me she was a high risk for falls. She fell out of her bed and they quickly changed the type of bed she was sleeping in and put an alarm on her and that has worked very well.
I would highly recommend Aspen Meadows. They have quickly addressed any concerns and we have quarterly meetings so that we are all on the same page as to her care plan.
I am very happy - but the most important thing is that my mom is happy.

Response: How often do you visit you're mother?? This is one of the nastiest facilities in Billings!!!

Response: I live in Oregon and my mother lives in Miles City. We have been told that my mother needs to be in a skilled nursing facility. The thought is frightening because we do not have a handle on the qualty of care in those communities. Could I call you???

Response: I am just now reviewing this website. My mother still lives at Aspen Meadows. I visit her at least 3 times a week. My opinion has not changed. I highly reccommend this facility. I have NEVER seen anybody in a state of undress and they do pay attention to the privacy of the residents. My mother was always a clean freak and she still talks about how they are always cleaning. Please don't judge the facility on a bad review of someone who was there for only 24 hours. My mother has now lived ther for 4 years now. I am a regular visitor and believe me if I had any issues, I would voice them!
To the person who asked if they could contact me, I hope you found a facility that met your needs.
