This place is a joke in should be shut down.

Horrible facility. It is grossly understaffed to budget cuts. Dangerous for the patients and RNs/LNAs. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The patients are being neglected at CM. Patients are sitting in their own feces and urine--sometimes for hours. Please complain to the nurse managers and head of nursing. They are having "budget cuts" while nurses are quitting nearly everyday. These are good nurses who refuse to put their careers on the line for the inevitable lawsuits that CM is begging for with its decision to short-change its patients. There are simply not enough staff members on the floor I visited to take care of everyone, let alone help when an emergency happens.

My child was supposed to have a one-to-one--per his doctor's orders!!! Because of the horrible management, they hardly ever had an LNA with him. The nurses are working so hard, but it is obvious that they are dangerously short staffed!!! I also heard their manager making fun of one of the patients--not my child--while I was there. This woman also made fun of one of the LNAs also. When asked to help a patient, this same manager said she was too busy!!! Hah!!! I took my child out as soon as I became aware of the neglect that is so rampant there. If you must put your child there, demand a weekly email as to whether your child got all the services that your insurance paid for!!!

This facilty does not feel for the patients or the staff. Patient care seems like a last priority to the almighty dollar and upper management trying to look good. Staff are mistreated and unhappy, short staffed which puts patients at risk.

Response: Crotched Mountain was stripped of their acceditation, when there was a staff to pt. sexual abuse case not reported in a timely manner and the DON WAS AWARE, and when the facility did not follow there own TB policies putting pt. at high risk for injury. The dnv accreditation website states non-deemed under accreditation.

This facility does the absolute minimal that they can get away with, does not listen to patient, no patient advocate, no communication with family, patient does not receive doctor care.

Response: Non profit organiztion????? DON got 10,000 dollar bonus for saving money by under staffing pt. units. The acuity tool used is manipulative, the numbers make it look like there is more staff because the tool is for threee shifts and CMRC only has 2 shifts making it look like the units are acually overstaffed when in fact the are understaffed Nurses on the unit give all their sweat blood and tears to CMRC with not gratitude.

Response: I believe that a wake up call should be made....maybe there's a reason CMRC deteriorated from four stars to one

If you are over fifty-five and are looking for a more comfortable, enjoyable, and convenient way of life, modern-day senior living may be just what you need. Senior living consists of two components: a new kind of housing and a new way of life. When you've grown weary of lawn upkeep, home repairs, and the daily cleaning and maintenance of your home, senior living is a wide, welcoming avenue worthy of exploration. There's independent living, where you take care of yourself (minus only the cooking and housekeeping), to more intense forms of compassionate assistance, such as in nursing or memory care, available around-the-clock. You are encouraged to examine the many styles of senior living and consider a new, convenient way of life.
