thay do not treat the people as you think thay are cheap and the people dont get what thay need trust me it seams warm and cozy but far from it i no i can say first hand do not put your family member there you will be sorry cut up towels used as was cloths and so on if i coud use a rateing it would be a -0000 the staff try hard but thay only last a couple months every few months thay leave thay treat you like dirt and dont have the stuff or staff to care for your loved ones nor do thay care some of the aids do the best thay can but its nothing thay get 5 mins a day if thay are lucky to talk while thay help feed or change trust me i no thay run out off heat thay lock the food up most of the stuff if your lucky to get a snack its a few creakers most do not thay hardly ever have ginger ale come on thay have to get them up at 4 am so thay are sitting at the table for breakfast thay say cuz of sundownung but its far from the truth first shift does not ge them up its 3rd

I never got to say goodbye. The owner is a liar, clueless heartless woman. The aids in the building go all out for a loved one and have the highest care and compassion for their residents. The activity staff get many involved just check out The Arches website. The nursing staff is top notch and the administrator treats family members like her own family. The building is well cared for.
The nurse and admin. called me to notify me of my loved ones health going downhill fast and that he should be moved downstairs in the building. So I called the owner in great concern for him. She then said "He is fine and is eating and moving around just fine they are just over reacting they are over cautious"......days later he died and I never got to say good bye..thinking she knew what was going on obviously she is a greedy uncaring woman and a downright liar with no concept of anyone's feelings.
I would never send anyone to The Arches due to the arrogance and ignorance of the owner. I never got to say good bye!

First of all companies file bankruptcy everyday big or small
I found this page while searching for the arches web page for pictures of my aunt.
The nursing aids go above and beyond for all the patients needs.
The nurses and administrator are on top of everything In the facility they let you know what is going on with no sugar coating
The owner tells you what she thinks you want to hear, sugar coats everything, lies and is way out of touch with what’s going on at the building (the real truth)
I feel like she took our money and had no clue who auntie was.
The administrator treated my aunt like family and looked out for her as if she was her own family member.
Auntie only had one complaint of the place FIRE DRILLS they woke her up..I love the fact that they care enough to do them for everyone’s safety.
The Maint. Man will do anything for you or your family member to make them feel at home. I don’t know how he keeps up making the 1800’s farm house look so good.
You will not find a better caring staff, hominess, family atmosphere or harder working people than the Arches. On the other hand you will never find a more dishonest, distrustful, lying owner anywhere. I am afraid to say I would not recommend the arches to anyone unless it was under new ownership. It is no way to run a business. The sad point is she will destroy the reputation of her hard working employees and herself. She will end up broke, alone and have no one to blame but herself.

STAY AWAY!! The staff at the arches is great and the nursing staff is 5 star..but the owner will make promises take your money and run. She makes promises of things they have never offered, she wants thousands of $$ up front then when you find out she cannot cater to your loved ones needs you move out and lose all $$ due to the owners ignorance. Then to find out 2 weeks after you move in you find out they are in Bankruptcy and have been for some time the owner will fail to tell you that but the obudsman will. She is something the owner that is but I cannot write that on here. The staff and nursing are beyond 5 stars but BEWARE of the owner she is deceiving and a flat out crook and liar! the Arches Assisted Living I give a 1...the Staff get 6 stars.

The Arches has taken care of my father for several years. They have provided my father with special care during his decline. Their community is homey and very warm. There rates are extremely fair.

The Arches filed for Chapter 11 on January 11, 2011 so BEWARE.

They have had many people put sizeable deposits down to get a reduced rate for 2 years. But what they fail to inform people is that the deposit is non-refundable.

And they have also filed for Chapter 11 so getting any money back from them is near impossible.

I would assume care will continue to deteriorate as they continue cutting back.


Response: NH falls under the Landlord laws the owner cannot hold deposits or community fees. Take them to court!! They now owe you interest
