My mom is currently in the nursing home unit and she is enjoying the vast array of activities to choose from. Everyday, the program assistants offer interactive , engaging activities and they demonstrate patience and compassion towards the seniors. Last year we took my father in law to another facility for rehabilitation. Their activities are far less interesting and limited compared to Cadbury's. The nurses aides could use some training on the way they speak to residents and families. They could be abrupt and insensitive at times. Overall, my family is confident mom will enjoy it here.

I would never recommend this rehab to anyone. It was not clean, they do not wash the bibs for the residents, the staff does does feed the residents in a dignified way at all. I have seen the aides sleeping in the main area. They don't always bathe the residents.

Description of Cadbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in CHERRY HILL, NJ

    Number of Beds : 120

Cadbury At Cherry Hill provides assisted living, independent living, memory care, nursing home, skilled nursing, continuing care, rehab and senior living care services and living options for seniors. Assisted living, geared toward individuals who want to live with some level of independence but occassionally need a little assistance, is the fastest growing, long-term care option for seniors. Living in a senior community has many advantages. Research suggests that seniors who live near their peers and have a variety of social activities feel a greater sense of well-being. Assisted living provides senior-friendly homes and a welcoming staff. Other services you'll find include around-the-clock supervision and security, access to professional nurses, emergency call systems, help with daily living, and nutritious meals prepared by chefs. These communities typically provide linen service, housekeeping, transportation, and a calendar of social events. Independent living is designed for seniors who are self-reliant but who want to enjoy a low-maintenance life. Tailored for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as retirement villages, 55+ communities, and senior apartments. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with a range of community amenities, services, and programs tailored just for seniors. You’ll enjoy your own space, so you can bring your favorite belongings, such as furniture and personal items. With independent living, residents won't have to worry about maintenance, mowing, or other chores associated with home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. You’ll find many social programs and community amenities, such as gardening, bridge, bingo, fitness programs, book clubs, and planned outings. Memory care offers the highest level of support, consistent memory enrichment programs, and increased security for your loved one. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a staff that is trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private studio homes with twenty-four-hour supervision. Three nutritious meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment offer intellectual stimulation. Communities typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to access. Other important services include behavioral therapies, continence care, medication management, and assistance with bathing and grooming. Continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) provide a complete care platform, from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. For seniors who need continuous, long-term medical support or short-term rehabilitation, nursing homes are a good option. The level of care depends on the medical needs of each resident, but typically residents receive nursing support and daily assistance with the activities of living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Most residents share a room, with nutritious meals offered in a central dining room. An activity director plans an activity and events plan to nurture mental, physical, and social well-being. Live at Cadbury At Cherry Hill, where you'll experience a comfortable new beginning. There are assisted living, independent living, memory care, nursing home, skilled nursing, continuing care, rehab and senior living services available at this location. Independent living is designed for seniors who are self-reliant but who want to enjoy a low-maintenance life. Memory care offers the highest level of support, memory enrichment programs, and increased security for your loved one. Continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) provide a complete care platform, from independent living to assisted living to skilled nursing care. Nursing home care provides skilled care for seniors who need continuous, long-term medical attention or shorter-term rehabilitation.
