My mother was "cared for" here after being sent from St Elizabeth's. The place is filthy, and though the nurses seem moderately nice, they clearly feel intimidated by an absentee medical director whom they hesitated to call for orders to keep her comfortable on a number of occasions. They say that they generally expect unconscious patients on the last hours of life, and that would seem appropriate, because it is not a place for a person with any awareness to spend their final days.
