Don't worry about trying to contact them. They will not answer the phone pass the receptionist that does not understand how to use the phone system.
You will need to be there daily to keep an eye on things and your love one.
They do not clean under the beds or before someone moves in. The furniture in long term is broken and beat up. If the person is not depressed before going in they will be. Workers will take thing from one patient, doesn't matter if it is their person item or something furnished and paid for by the insurance or Medicare. They they just laugh about it. They say the same thing to everybody" Don't tell anyone but (the patient)is my favorite." Just figure they mean just the opposite. They get them fed and dress by 7:30- 8AM then put in a wheelchair for the day out in the common area or hallway until 8 to 9 PM at night when it is time for bed. If they are feeling bad or want to sleep then too bad. They just have to stay in that chair all day. This causes pressure sores.
Make sure you make copies of everything for they do not keep the copies. Sometimes you have to give the three copies. If you request information or copy of a bill you did not receive they will not respond. If you take it to the Administrator he will not take the call -always "in a meeting"

They make you feel as though (concerned family members) are a pain in the butt. They say they are going to follow up on a- concern, but they do not. You just have to pray and hope for the best because you are given the impression they really don't give a darn.
