They are sometimes lax in providing the care for which one is paying a high price. Rather than easing the minds of family members, and making their lives easier, they create more stress by not doing their jobs. The Cupola is quite expensive and all that is asked is that families get what the are paying for - especially peace of mind. If one has to constantly check that matters are being attended to and taken care of, then what exactly are we paying for? The residents are there for a reason, so do your job and do it diligently for crying out loud.

Response: I have a 95 year old uncle who is there
we live in Ct he is all alone there. No other family around hope he is taken care of by staff.

Response: SHAME on Cupolas administration, their mission should be to keep the residents safe, comfortable and happy at all times but that's not the case here.
First, starting from Lisa who worries about small details and chooses to ignore the big problem. The residents are not treated like humans, most of the aids from the morning scream at them like if they are animals, throw and push them around like toys. Louis a Jewish resident told some of the staff members he didn't have a bath for 3 days because his aid doesn't like him and locked his towel in a closet. Another resident did on his pants in the dinning room, when his aid finally arrived she screamed at him repeating he was dirty and disgusting and all he said was please lower your voice, I don't want everyone to know what happen to me. This people are cold hearted they are not meant to work in a facility like this one, need to understand we are all getting older and every elder person has to be treated as gentle as a baby!!!.
Second, TIM is suppose to be the head of the dietary department and he does the complete opposite, he's very unprofessional first he doesn't work hehe don't take care of the dinning room and his staff members, the kitchen runs out of good all the time, no variety of
deserts, drinks and special orders, they don't have enough food utensils, table cloths and servers, there's 5 rooms full of residents and the serves need help they are not enough to providehours the residents the attention and service they deserve, on weekends is normal to have only 3 servers in the floor taking care of everyone. Also sometimes there are no chefs and anyone is cooking the meals. Tim holds a sexual relationship with Crystal a waitress at the dinning room who does scheduled, she never works and when she does she has extra people on the floor so she could just walk around or get list with Tim, plays with everyone's schedule and on top of everything she's one more of the cold hearted team towards the residents.
It's incredible what goes on here and someone needs to fix this chaos, the residents pay a lot of money and they deserve WAY better than this.
