PRAISE GOD that Probyn is no longer the owner of Ann's Abby. As of February 2018, Ann's Abby has a new owner, Rebecca Bove, who TRULY cares about the residents. I firmly believe the previous "review" about the place and Probyn, because I recently visited the facility and Probyn was feeding the residents EXPIRED FOOD, hardly NO food, and the facility is FILTHY and in need of many repairs (to say the least). May the Lord greatly bless the new owner and the residents of Ann's Abby. FINALLY the residents have someone who will meet all their needs, feed them, care about them, love them, and who will be there for them; and not intimidate nor steal from them the way Probyn did. The new owner needs a LOT of help cleaning up the place and doing repairs, and replacing expired food for the residents. Anyone interested in helping to improve the living conditions at Ann's Abby for the residents living there is welcome to visit Ann's Abby any weekend and talk one-on-one with the new owner, Rebecca - and all you have to do is look around to see the great need and how much help is needed to get this facility in the proper condition it should be in to meet the needs of all residents.

This Facility is horrible. The residents are being robbed of their money, being feed poorly and the house isn't even upkept (weather wise). Was told this information by a previous employee of the facility. This place doesn't even have a CNA that is on call, the owner and his wife are both nurses who rarely come to the building or do any of the nursing work at the building and hire people who have no certifications to administor medicine to the residents. Also the owner of the facility Probyn Sonnie Allen is a criminal who was charged with theft by deception that robbed a 86 year old women for over $100,000.

Response: Disgruntled people that live there lives to destroys others because they look up to other s for their happiness . What did this person gain by writing poorly about others . Remember when you make up stories about others and those that will believe such people are the most unhappy peoples on earth. I hope you gain your peace by destroying others due to your life long unhappiness on earth. If you are Christian May The Lord bless you. If you are artiest or what ever you are why not come to the place you are writing ruthlessly about come there and clean the toilets yourself since you care more for these people. Life is too short to live on looking for negativism about others instead of giving part of your life in helping others . instead of thanking those of us who have giving our lives helping those that need us. There are more people that need help than destroying those that are giving there genuine sole to others. May The Lord continue to bless you if you think that the people are not taking care of why not come in and fund, care ,clean take blood pressure, cook, send them to their doctors or be responsible for the well being of the needy instead of playing which hunt. You battered

Response: The people you are lying about have cared for these people for over ten years so seat tight and relax as these are genuine license practitioners giving their day to day lives to these people . Do you understand what been an entrepreneur is ,or been a technician is ,or what it means to maintain employment in your neighborhood means. Some people take up life long chances while others spend their lives been destructive. If those people that run the place never show up there so who shop for their feeding , how is maintenance done, how are the employees paid by you. We will continue to happily serve and care for the people of Ann's abbey until we decide no more .The Lord and the people knows and are aware of our service and that is what matters.

Response: The new owner, Rebecca Bowe need to direct her energy into providing good care for the residents instead spending that energy in destroying the character of previous owners. If Probyn Allen is a criminal, the state would have never allowed him to run a viable business and cannot work for the state of New Jersey.( which he does) I invite all concerned to visit Ann’s Abbey now and see with your own naked eyes how terrible the place is under the new management. Under this new management, residents are doing jobs meant for the employees. Employees and residents are allowed to smoke in their rooms and in the building, which is a fire hazard;putting the lives of the residents in danger. Presently, the residents do the cooking and laundry which is a Clear violation .
The building is still owned by Probyn and not Rebecca. She cannot afford to buy the building.

Response: I was a former employee of Ann’s Abbey under the management of Probyn and his wife. Everything that is being said about Probyn and his wife is absolutely false. During my employment with Ann’s Abbey, Probyn encouraged me to further my education. Thanks to him, I am now a research chemist. Under his management, the residents were well taking care of and they were well fed. If Probyn was stealing money from the residents, he would have being caught and locked up long ago. You need to stop trying to damage the character of a good man who has done nothing wrong to you. Many have tried and failed and you will also fail.

Response: Your negative comments about the previous owners is not a clear assessment of their true character. If the previous owners were so horrible, how come they were able to successfully manage Ann’s Abbey for such a long time? Stop your tirades and concentrate on developing yourself. The evil that men do lives with them.
